So it’s the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII (that’s 57, in non-Roman numerals) on Feb. 12 in Glendale, Ariz.

The Chiefs are a one-point favorite.

Wait, the Eagles are a one-point favorite.

Now, it’s pick-em, according to vegasinsiders.com, for the first Super Bowl between top-seeded teams since the Eagles defeated the New England Patriots for the 2017 championship.

The opening line for the Super Bowl bounced around in the first hour after the Chiefs defeated the Cincinnati Bengals for the AFC championship and a few hours after the Eagles beat the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC title game.

At Caesars Sportsbook, the game opened as pick-em before the Eagles became a two-point favorite. On the money line, the Chiefs are listed at plus-110 with the Eagles at minus-130. The over/under is 49 1/2 points.

Connections abound for the franchises. Andy Reid is the only coach in NFL history to win 100 games for two different teams, his current Chiefs and the Eagles, his former longtime team.

The podcast New Heights features NFL player insights from brothers Jason and Travis Kelce. That’s Jason, the Eagles’ Pro Bowl center, and Travis, the Chiefs All-Pro tight end and future Hall of Famer.

”Jason said he’d wear a Chiefs sweatshirt for three hours today, and that would be the last time he’d wear it,” Travis Kelce said after the game.
