Kandiyohi County Board to meet Tuesday, June 15

Jun. 13—WILLMAR — The next meeting of the Kandiyohi County Board of Commissioners is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday in the board room at the county Health and Human Services Building.

The board will first meet as the Health and Human Services Committee, starting at 9 a.m. The meeting agenda includes continued discussion about the Blue Cross Blue Shield care coordination contract, along with consideration of the Project Turnabout contract. Corinne Torkelson, supervisor, will also give an annual report presentation.

The regular board meeting will start at 10 a.m. A public hearing will be held on the adoption of the Glacial Lakes Sanitary Sewer and Water District critical water deficiency ordinance, followed by consideration of final payment for the water treatment plant filter rehab project.

The annual report on the 2021 county performance measurements will be given. There will also be a discussion about an annual donation of $15,000 to the Drug Free Coalition.

The commissioners will also consider a request for broadband funding, using the county's allotment from the American Rescue Plan.
