Kamari Wilson announced top four, commitment date

More possible good news for the LSU Tigers as it pertains to the 2022 recruiting class. Kamari Wilson of the IMG Academy announced his top four schools with LSU, Florida State, Georgia, and Texas A&M making the final cut. The belief is that he will likely go with the Bulldogs at this point in time. Wilson will announce his commitment on Dec. 15 at 4:00 pm EST on ESPN.

Wilson is the No. 1 ranked safety of the 2022 class according to ESPN and the 247Sports composite rankings. Former LSU commit Jacoby Mathews is the No. 1 recruit on other boards. Could Wilson’s decision impact Mathews? That could be in play or they could both land at the same school. Brian Kelly and his staff have less than 10 days to try and seal the deal.

The Tigers currently lack a safety commit in this class. Mathews was the lone commit before he re-opened his recruitment. We should find out on Dec. 15 if they will get a top-tier safety to come to Baton Rouge.
