K9s United, a Florida-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting K-9 law enforcement teams, is nearing the Oct. 15th deadline of pre-selling its specialty license plates.

K9s United supports law enforcement with vital training, lifesaving equipment and crucial legislation to benefit canines and their partners in the field.

Nearly half of the license plates have already pre-sold. To get K9s United to their goal, Florida drivers and dog lovers can help reach their goal of 3,000 pre-orders for the plates to be produced statewide.

By pre-purchasing the plates, you can also help the nonprofit to potentially receive over $75,000 annually to help provide essential paws-on training workshops, resources, equipment and advocacy to law enforcement K-9s and their handlers.

$25 from each one pre-sold will go directly to help K-9 teams who serve our communities throughout Florida. Florida drivers don’t need to be due for renewal to preorder the tag, and the vouchers will not expire.

K9s United said they “help fill that void and aid law enforcement agencies to ensure the K-9 units have the programs and supplies the dogs need most.”
