Juvenile killed, 3 others injured during Sunday crash in Pueblo

A juvenile was killed and three others injured Sunday morning in a car wreck in the 0-100 block of Duke Street, according to the Pueblo Police Department.

Pueblo PD officers were called to the area on a report of a crash that took place about 9:30 a.m. and determined through their investigation that the four juveniles had been traveling west on Duke Street in a Mitsubishi when the driver lost control and rolled the vehicle, police said.

Two of the juveniles were ejected from the vehicle, and all four were injured and transported to a local hospital. One was later flown to another Colorado hospital for further treatment.

Police announced Tuesday that one of the passengers died as a result of their injuries but did not release additional information. The passenger has not yet been identified by the county coroner's office.
