The Arizona Cardinals will not face rookie quarterback Justin Fields when they take on the Chicago Bears. Fields was doubtful for the game on the final injury report of the week but some believed he could be used in specific packages.

That will not be the case. The Bears released their inactive list for the game against the Cardinals and Fields will not dress.

Andy Dalton will start at quarterback for Chicago.

They will be without several starters on offense and defense. Here are their inactives:

  • QB Justin Fields

  • RB Damien Williams

  • WR Allen Robinson

  • CB Teez Tabor

  • WR Marquise Goodwin

  • DE Mario Edwards

  • DT Akiem Hicks

The Bears are down two of their three best receivers with Robinson and Goodwin missing the game. Hicks is a game-wrecker in the defensive interior. They already lost pass rusher Khalil Mack for the rest of the season.

They will, though, have linebacker Roquan Smith in the lineup. He suffered a hamstring injury in the Bears’ last game and was questionable to play after missing practice Wednesday and Thursday and getting limited work on Friday.

Kickoff for the game is 1 p.m. ET.
