Just how different are star Boston Celtics wings Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum in terms of their styles of play? When the two had trouble meshing at a high level at the start of the 2021-22 NBA season and people began suggesting they might need to be split up, their overlapping skillsets were part of the reason cited.

That was clearly a pile of rubbish, but is there truth to the notion their games overlap, or are they fairly different players? The host of the Heavy “Celtics Collective” podcast Adam Taylor recently sat down to explore the similarities and differences in their games and came away with an interesting perspective on how their styles of play mesh.

Take a look at the clip embedded below to see what he has to say about Boston’s star wings heading into the 2022-23 season.
