Junior Hockey: Granite City tops Willmar Warhawks

Mar. 1—The Willmar WarHawks fell below the .500 mark after falling to the Granite City Lumberjacks on Sunday night at the Willmar Civic Center.

Braeden Bartoo had a goal and an assist for Granite City. After Willmar cut the deficit to 3-2, Hanson O'Leary's third-period goal gave the Lumberjacks an insurance goal at 12:55.

Dylan Gajewski finished with a goal and an assist for Willmar. Isaiah Thomas and Jack Willis also scored goals for the WarHawks.

Willmar has four games this week, starting with a trip to Mason City to face North Iowa on Thursday.
