Julie Andrews returns to the red carpet at Venice Film Festival

Julie Andrews returned to the red carpet on Monday evening to collect a Lifetime Achievement Award. The 83-year-old actress, who rose to fame in the 1960s for her performances in Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music, attended the 76th annual Venice Film Festival, where she was presented with the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement. Julie, who has a career spanning over 60 years in the industry, joined a long list of film visionaries who have taken home the accolade, including Charlie Chaplin, Al Pacino, Clint Eastwood and Orson Welles.
