With what appears to be hair dye running down her forehead and cheeks, Julia Louis-Dreyfus spoofed Rudy Giuliani Tuesday to announce that the cast of "Veep" will reunite for a virtual table read to support voter turnout for the upcoming Georgia Senate runoff elections.

"Hey hey, ho ho, this endless recount's got to go," protesters can be heard chanting at the start of the promo posted to Instagram, which spans about a minute and a half. "Count every vote," counterprotesters reply.

Then Louis-Dreyfus chimes in, narrating over the protest footage, recalling the 2016 Emmy-winning episode "Mother."

"Over the last several weeks, many brave and patriotic Americans have come forward having witnessed similarities between our ongoing election and the TV show 'Veep,'" she says before a clip of her character, Selina Meyer, telling her colleagues to stop a recount.

"[It's] not just a singular example but a pattern that repeats itself over and over," Louis-Dreyfus adds, echoing Giuliani's comments from last week's much-maligned press conference that featured President Donald Trump's lawyer with what looked like hair dye running down his cheeks.

As a result, on Dec. 6 (8 p.m. EST), the original cast and some "very special guests" will reunite to do a virtual read of the uncut script for "Mother."

"2020 won't stop ripping off VEEP, so we had to do something about it," Louis-Dreyfus wrote on Instagram with the video announcement of the event, a nod to the odd similarities between the sitcom's once-outrageous parody and current events.

"The #VEEP cast is hosting a LIVE virtual table read of the episode everyone was talking about — all in support of @AmericaVotes' grassroots work to turn out voters for the upcoming Georgia Runoffs," she continued. "Go to www.showupforgeorgia.com to reserve your ticket. Link in bio. #VeepUncut #ShowUpForGeorgia."
