James left at the 16:03 mark after tumbling to the court under the hoop by the Tennessee bench. James caught an inadvertent elbow from Vanderbilt guard Jordan Wright as the Commodores ran in transition. James grabbed at the right side of his face above his eye. He was a little bit unsteady when his teammates helped him off the court.

Tennessee led 33-32 at halftime.

James is averaging 7.0 points and 5.9 rebounds.
