"Star Wars" star John Boyega misses his friend, and he's not afraid to say so.

The actor, who plays Finn in the series' latest trilogy, shared his feelings for his co-star Oscar Isaac in an eloquent "love letter," which he read aloud on his Instagram page Saturday.

"My dearest Oscar," Boyega begins his message, reading the quill-written letter in an over-the-top accent. "It's been a fortnight since we last spoke, and I must admit that I've missed you so."

Boyega's letter goes on to compare his own relationship with Isaac — who plays the Resistance pilot Poe Dameron in the trilogy — to that of the two actors' characters.

"As I sit and reflect upon the adventures of Finn and Poe," Boyega reads, as music from the "Star Wars" series swells in the background, "I'm struck with anguish that John and Oscar have not been afforded the same caliber of companionship."

The dynamic between Boyega's and Isaac's characters has long been a source of excitement for fans, with some even "shipping" for Finn and Poe to become a couple — often using the hashtag #FinnPoe — in the series.

In real life, however, it seems like the men's relationship still has a long way to go — at least according to Boyega. The British actor, who will once again share the screen with Isaac when "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" premieres on Dec. 20, continuously called for his friend to reciprocate his admiration.

"During the last press tour [for 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi'], I put my hand on your shoulder, waiting for a connection," Boyega says in his video. "It never came. I long to be reunited with you on our final press tour — and show the world a bond greater than the Force."

"The Rise of Skywalker" will be the final entry in the most recent "Star Wars" trilogy, bringing an end to Finn's and Poe's character arcs, and, apparently, Boyega's chances to build his friendship with Isaac. That's likely why the actor concluded his letter by asking Isaac to be his plus-one for the film's premiere.

"Please reciprocate my correspondence by the 'morrow. @starwars press tour continues!!! I need to stop watching the crown!" Boyega captioned his video, which has now been viewed more than 150,000 times.
