Joel Embiid questionable, Andre Drummond doubtful for Sixers vs. Thunder

The Philadelphia 76ers hit the road to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday for a quick two-game road trip and it appears that they could be a little shorthanded than usual for the game.

While the Sixers will still be missing Ben Simmons as he continues to get himself right to move forward and Shake Milton is still out, they could be without their two big men as well.

Joel Embiid is questionable with right knee soreness as he said the knee was extremely sore on Friday after the loss to the Brooklyn Nets. On top of that, backup big man Andre Drummond is now doubtful to play against the Thunder as he is dealing with a right ankle sprain.

The Sixers will take on the Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena at 7 p.m. EDT on Sunday looking to get back on the winning track. If Embiid and/or Drummond can’t go, then they will have to rely on young Paul Reed to step up and play more minutes. They could also go Georges Niang at that spot and play more small ball as well.
