Joel Embiid to play for Sixers vs. Magic despite left foot soreness
PHILADELPHIA–As the Philadelphia 76ers get set to take on the Orlando Magic on Monday night, they will be looking to build off their recent seven-game winning streak and continue to build and grow as a team.
They will do so with the full lineup once again. After being listed as questionable due to left foot soreness, Embiid will play against the Magic. He has been dealing with this foot injury as he continues to help the Sixers move forward and get themselves together.
Considering he has remained questionable a lot and even missed a game on their recent West Coast road trip, one has to wonder if this is something that will linger.
“I hope not,” said coach Doc Rivers. “I think he’s improved in the last week and a half. That’s good. He was active in shootaround today (Monday) so that’s a step forward.”
Joel Embiid is officially in today. Same starting lineup. #Sixers
