The All-Star game is set for Sunday night at State Farm Arena in Atlanta and the Philadelphia 76ers were supposed to have their top two players represent them in the game. However, that appears that is now in jeopardy.

Star duo Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons were both selected for the game, Embiid as a starter and Simmons as a reserve, for the game, but due to COVID contact tracing, that could leave them out.

The two of them traveled to Atlanta on separate planes, but due to an inconclusive test from a barber, they could miss the game. The barber is being retested and they are awaiting the results for him.

Considering that this game does not mean anything in the grand scheme of things, it would not be the end of the world if Embiid and Simmons can’t play on Sunday. The big concern is their availability when the second half of the season begins on Thursday against the Chicago Bulls.
