Joe Scarborough says Republicans will be 'held accountable' for impeachment outcome
"Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough slammed Republican lawmakers, saying they would be "held accountable" for the way they have handled the impeachment trial. Speaking on his show, Scarborough said that a Trump acquittal is the equivalent of Republicans shooting "themselves in the political foot." He added: "The truth will be known. It will be shouted from the mountaintops. It’s just going to make the Republicans look worse."
