Buckley (15-5 MMA, 5-3 UFC) is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Nassourdine Imavov earlier this month in the UFC’s first event ever in France. Prior to the defeat, Buckley was on a three-fight winning streak that included two stoppage victories that earned him Performance of the Night bonuses. Buckley is having a busy year having fought in February, June, September, and now booked to return in December.

Curtis (29-9 MMA, 3-1 UFC) is also coming off a defeat. He was last seen in action back in July when he lost in a unanimous decision to Jack Hermansson FC Fight Night 208 in London. It was a bout that he took on short notice, replacing an injured Darren Till. The defeat snapped an eight-fight winning streak for the 35-year-old.

With the addition, the UFC 282 lineup includes:

  • Robbie Lawler vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio

  • Dricus Du Plessis vs. Darren Till

  • Chris Daukaus vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik

  • Joaquin Buckley vs. Chris Curtis
