A Bread Maker

This time last year, the mom-of-five revealed on Instagram that a Breville bread machine should be on everyone's Christmas wishlist. "The smell of fresh bread alone is worth it. #itshouldbeacandle," she shared with her followers.

The nifty kitchen gadget from Breville comes with an automatic fruit and nut dispenser that releases ingredients at the perfect time during the kneading phase, a smart LCD screen with 3 crust colors, 4 loaf sizes and 13 different settings, as well as 46 step by step recipes. In January 2014, Gaines shared her go-to bread recipe on her blog -- and it only takes 3 minutes to make. Find the recipe here!

The Joanna Gaines Cookbook

If you're craving more of Joanna Gaines' recipes, her first cookbook is definitely where you should start. Gaines' Magnolia Table is packed with 125 recipes inspired by the Gaines' family favorites on everything from breakfast to dinner, small snacks to desserts. The cookbook has become such a success (a best-seller on Amazon with over 2,000 positive reviews) that Gaines is releasing the second iteration of her cookbook on April 7, 2020. It's available for preorder here.

A Wooden Toy Train Set

Kids toys...but make it chic. Chip and Jo's lifestyle brand Hearth and Hand with Magnolia, which was created for Target, does just that, but at Target prices. We're loving this adorable wooden toy train set for the holidays, which features an interactive design for kids 18 months and older.

Her Favorite Lipstick

The home improvement guru has a lot on her plate (literally...five kids and numerous businesses), but always looks so effortlessly chic. Gaines took to her blog a few years ago to reveal how her makeup always stays fresh even on the longest of workdays, and says MAC lipstick is the answer.

"The best long-lasting nude lipstick I’ve found!" she revealed about the product, which she uses in the color "Fresh Brew." She also doesn't go a day without Revitalash Mascara and her "tried and true favorite" Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner.

Shiplap Picture Frame

Anyone who is a "Fixer Upper" fan knows that next to her family, shiplap is nearest to Jo's heart. But if actual shiplap wooden planks from her home decor line Magnolia Home are too much of a commitment to gift, we recommend starting small, like with this rustic picture frame that is very on-brand for the designer.

Her Rustic Free People Flats

Style does not go out the door for Gaines at work, who always looks put together whether she's tending to one of the animals on Magnolia Farms or visiting a reno site. Southern Living noted that the 41-year-old seems to be particularly fond of these Royale Flats from Free People. Although Gaines never confirmed the designer behind her shoes, this pair seems to be almost identical to a pair that's been spotted on many "Fixer Upper" episodes.

Her Go-To Notebook

The design genius told Country Living in an interview last year that there are two staples she never leaves home without: A tape measure and one of her Appointed notebooks. In fact, Gaines' loves the stationery and notebooks from the brand so much that they sell it in her store, making it the perfect gift for your work wife or organized friend!

Her Favorite Throw Pillows

In early 2019, Gaines once again expanded her home decor line, this time at Anthropologie with the launch of one of her new collections. We're loving this textured and handwoven pillow from the collection.
