Jimmy Eat World, the Maine join legends of emo at When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas

Two of the Valley's biggest rock bands, Jimmy Eat World and the Maine, are set to rock the emo-loving masses in Las Vegas at a festival topped by My Chemical Romance and a reunited Paramore making their first live appearance since 2018.

The When We Were Young Festival will take place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on Saturday, Oct. 22.

Other acts include Bright Eyes, AFI, the Used, Bring Me The Horizon, Boys Like Girls, Avril Lavigne, Taking Back Sunday, Dashboard Confessional, We the Kings, Alkaline Trio, Manchester Orchestra, Dance Gavin Dance, a Day to Remember, the All-American Rejects, Anberlin, 3OH!3, Atreyu, the Ready Set, La Dispute, the Wonder Years, Hawthorne Heights, Mayday Parade, Car Seat Headrest and Wolf Alice.

Jimmy Eat World and Dashboard Confessional are also joining forces on a co-headlining tour in 2022, while the Maine will headline their own festival in downtown Phoenix, 8123 Fest.

The presale begins at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, at whenwewereyoungfestival.com.

General admission tickets are $224.99. GA+ tickets are $399.99 and VIP tickets are $499.99.

VIP Cabanas are available for $12,500.

Hotel and ticket packages are available starting at $499.
