Jets' Adam Lowry to have hearing for hit on Flames' Oliver Kylington
Winnipeg Jets forward Adam Lowry will face a hearing for his hit on Calgary Flames defenseman Oliver Kylington on Saturday night, the NHL’s Department of Player Safety announced on Sunday.
The hit occurred near the end of the second period of the Heritage Classic game when Kylington was in a vulnerable position against the glass.

This scary camera angle shows net-minder David Rittich pulling his teammate out of the ensuing scrum as skates and bodies toppled over him while he laid face down.
Lowry was assessed a two-minute penalty for boarding on the play. Lowry spoke with reporters about the incident after the game, saying he thought the right call was made on the ice. His hearing on Monday will be conducted over the phone.
