JetBlue Airways launches three-day sale with fares starting at $31 one way
Got some vacation days to burn?
JetBlue Airways just launched a three-day fare sale with one-way fares starting at $31 for travel before and after Thanksgiving.
The New York-based carrier said the $31 fares will be offered on 31 routes.
They include flights between New York and Florida and Nashville; Los Angeles and Las Vegas; and Boston to Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Miami and San Antonio.
Tickets must be purchased by Friday and are only available through JetBlue's website or reservations center. The latter includes a $25 booking fee.
Travelers shopping for tickets should check other airlines' prices, too, as airlines tend to match each other on competing routes.
JetBlue Airways $31 'monster' fare sale: the fine print
Travel dates are Nov. 1 through Dec. 16, excluding Thanksgiving travel.
The holiday blackout dates are Nov. 20-29.
Friday and Sunday travel is excluded, ruling out traditional weekend getaways.
The $31 tickets will be in basic economy (JetBlue calls it Blue Basic) or regular economy depending on the route. Basic economy tickets carry more restrictions so check the terms before booking.
