Nosy could be our middle name, so when it comes to looking into people's dating histories, we're all over it. Whether it's Timothee Chalamet or Kendall Jenner; we're willing to do some digging. Here's a look back at Jennifer Aniston's dating history, from her marriage to Brad Pitt to *those* David Schwimmer dating rumours.

Jennifer Aniston dating history

Charlie Schlatter, 1990

In 1990, Jen worked on a sitcom version of Ferris Bueller's Day Off called Ferris Bueller, where she met actor Charlie Schlatter. In 2014, GQ's Editor in Chief Jim Nelson revealed the pair had been a couple, and he'd witnessed their "brief" relationship while he was a writer's assistant on the show.

"GQ can exclusively report that everyone on set thought she was hot, including Schlatter, with whom she had a brief, torrid romance—while playing, it must be said, his older sister."

Daniel McDonald, 1990 - 1995

A 21-year-old Jen dated the late actor Daniel McDonald for four years in the early 00s, later opening up about the relationship to The New York Times in 2015.

"He was my first love—five years we were together," she recalled (via Entertainment Tonight.) "He would have been the one. But I was 25, and I was stupid. He must have sent me Justin [Theroux] to make up for it all." Brb, crying.

Adam Duritz, 1995

A year after the Friends franchise kicked off, Jennifer dated Counting Crows frontman Adam after meeting at nightclub The Viper Room.

"I met Jennifer Aniston there 'cause a bunch of my friends lied to me and told me she had a crush on me,' Adam said in July 2021 as part of VICE TV's Dark Side Of The 90s series. "And those same friends lied to her and told her I had a crush on her. I honestly had no idea who she was.

"She was nice, really funny, really pretty. Those are pretty good requirements for me and also she liked me. [It] didn't last long."

Tate Donovan, 1995 - 1998

The actors dated for three years before his appearance as Rachel Green's love interest in Friends, when they were actually breaking up in irl.

He told Us Weekly in 2018, "The only bummer was Jennifer and I were breaking up at the time. And so that was tricky to sort of act, and act like we are just meeting each other, and falling in love, or whatever, interested in each other, when we’re sort of breaking up. That was just tough.”

"The people that know that we dated think that we met on Friends. But in fact we had dated for two years before then, and it was over by the time we were on Friends together."

Brad Pitt, 1998 - 2005

Ahh, Brad and Jen. How could we forget? After being set up by their agents, these two became the IT couple of the late 1990s, appearing on all red carpets and at every event. He proposed in November 1999, and they got married in July 2000.

Brad met Angelina Jolie on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith in May 2005, and he and Jen announced their split with a joint statement in January 2005. It read:

"We would like to announce that after seven years together we have decided to formally separate. For those who follow these sorts of things, we would like to explain that our separation is not the result of any of the speculation reported by the tabloid media. This decision is the result of much thoughtful consideration. We happily remain committed and caring friends with great love and admiration for one another. We ask in advance for your kindness and sensitivity in the coming months."

Vince Vaughn, 2005 - 2006

We TOTALLY forgot this was a thing! Though it didn't last long, Jen opened up to Vogue in 2008 about how fulfilling the relationship was. "I call Vince my defibrillator," she recalled. "He literally brought me back to life. My first gasp of air was a big laugh! It was great. I love him. He's a bull in a china shop. He was lovely and fun and perfect for the time we had together. And I needed that. And it sort of ran its course."

John Mayer, 2008 - 2009

Jen and John met at an Oscars party in early 2008, and were on and off over the couple of years that followed. In December 2008, she told Vogue of Mayer, "We care about each other. It’s funny when you hit a place in a relationship and you both realise, we maybe need to do something else, but you still really, really love each other. It’s painful.

They briefly reunited, attending the 2009 Oscars together, before splitting again the following March. In 2010, he told Rolling Stone of the break up, "I’ve never really gotten over it. It was one of the worst times of my life."

Justin Theroux, 2011 - 2018

Jennifer started dating Justin Theroux after working on the film Wanderlust together. They were photographed arm in arm almost immediately. In August 2012, a 43-year-old Justin asked Jennifer to marry him on her 41st birthday while the couple were in New York.

The pair tied the knot in a secret ceremony in August 2015, but later announced their divorce in February 2018. In a joint statement, they said:

"We have decided to announce our separation. This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship."

In April 2021, Justin told Esquire the pair were still in touch, commenting, “I would say we’ve remained friends. We don’t talk every day, but we call each other. We FaceTime. We text. Like it or not, we didn’t have that dramatic split, and we love each other. I’m sincere when I say that I cherish our friendship. We can not be together and still bring each other joy and friendship. Also, she makes me laugh very, very hard. She’s a hilarious person. It would be a loss if we weren’t in contact, for me personally. And I’d like to think the same for her."

Not David Schwimmer, 2021

Fans were all over rumours that David and Jen aka Ross and Rachel from Friends were dating irl. News broke with a report from Closer claiming they had "enjoyed quality time together" since the Reunion show, adding that "it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them."

But it wasn't to be: a representative for David told The Huffington Post that there was "no truth" to the rumours of a romance. Boo.
