Jennifer Aniston makes explosive Instagram debut with full 'Friends' reunion photo

Jennifer Aniston has joined Instagram and her first post has made a big impression.

The actress shared a photo featuring all six main Friends stars including Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt Le Blanc alongside herself in a cosy selfie.

Aniston, 50, captioned the snap: "And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM."

While mini-reunions between a few of the cast members aren't unusual, all six of the stars in one photo is a much rarer event since the hugely popular show aired its final episode in 2004 after running for ten seasons since it began in 1994.

It comes after Aniston revealed on The Howard Stern Show that the six of them had a get together at Cox's house.

“We just had dinner this week. The whole gang. Everyone was there,” she said. "Schwimmer was in town. We all happened to have a window of time, so we all got together."

This year marks the 25th anniversary for the series and the occasion has been marked in numerous ways including special episode screenings and set tours.

Paul Rudd, who played Phoebe Buffay's love interest Mike, recently told Graham Norton on his BBC show that being in the programme was a "blur".

He also divulged how he ran over Aniston's toe on set while it was broken and believed he would be instantly fired.

The 50-year-old shared: “I was on the set for my first episode and Jennifer was on a Segway because she had broken her toe, and everyone was marvelling at it.
