If he keeps playing as he did against the Miami Heat on Wednesday night at TD Garden, superstar Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum might end up getting knighted on top of winning the 2023 Kia Most Valuable Player award.

In front of a packed house including the Prince and Princess of Wales, the St. Louis native put on a show for the ages, scoring an absurd 49 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals with just 1 turnover and 3 personal fouls. Tatum shot a sizzling 15-of-21 from the field overall, and an even more impressive 8-of-12 from beyond the arc, and a near-perfect 11-of-12 from the charity stripe.

“I shot 50 before,” said the Duke alum after the game, unmoved by coming up one shy of that mark. “I’ll do it again one day.”

Take a look at the clip embedded above to see his highlights from the game in full courtesy of the NBA YouTube channel.
