Angelica Steffy, Croatan: The senior won the 138-pound title in the NCHSAA Women’s Wrestling Invitational, defeating South Davidson’s Gabby Akers 8-4 in the final.
Anabel Rodriguez, Dixon: The sophomore won the 120-pound title in the NCHSAA Women’s Wrestling Invitational, defeating Westover’s Ayonna McNeil 13-8 in the final.

Boys basketball
Mason Nowell, Dixon: The senior had 12 points, three assists and two steals in a 72-42 loss to Swansboro.
Cooper Tozier, Dixon: The junior had seven points, six assists, three rebounds and two steals.
Amaree Barber, Jacksonville: The junior had 11 points, nine rebounds and five assists in a 56-53 victory over D.H. Conley.
Christian Constant, Jacksonville: The senior had 18 points, eight rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Ra-Shawn Echols, Jacksonville: The sophomore had 16 points, two rebounds, two steals, two assists and two blocks.
