Jack Nicholson Comes Out Of Hiding For Lakers Game Appearance
There aren't many people who define Old Hollywood as well as legendary actor Jack Nicholson does. He's been around for a very long time and his influence can be seen in some of the hottest, most talented actors of this generation. But even in his later years if Nicholson wanted to snag a role he would completely turn it all the way out because he is an absolute beast when it comes to delivering. And it's a talent that has gained him many accolades and awards.
Nicholson has always been one of the best actors to ever grace a screen, and his track record includes many classic movies including One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Terms of Endearment and As Good As It Gets, three performances for which he earned Academy Awards. But many will also remember that Nicholson has the distinct honor of being the very first actor to play the role of The Joker in the inaugural film ushering in the tale of Bruce Wayne, 1989's Batman.
The first Batman movie went on to make over four hundred million dollars, solidifying it as a certified classic. And quite possibly Nicholson's Joker laid the foundation for the frenetic insanity that needed to became synonymous with the character, which would later be portrayed by Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix. Both actors would go on the receive awards for their portrayals as well, but not without consequences. Phoenix's erratic behavior has been heavily documented since wrapping the film and Ledger died from an overdose following his turn in the role. After learning of Ledger's death Nicholson very cryptically answered 'I warned them'.

Nicholson's love for the game brought him out of hiding, according to Pop Culture, as he made a rare appearance at a Laker's game to cheer on his team and hang out with a few friends, including rapper Tory Lanez.
Jack Nicholson made a rare public appearance on Tuesday as he sat court-side at an L.A. Lakers game. The actor has been enjoying his retirement in private, for the most part, but this week fans got another glimpse of him. He seemed carefree as he enjoyed the game.Nicholson sat with his 27-year-old son Ray at the Staples Center on Tuesday, watching the Los Angeles Lakers face off against the New York Knicks. He was dressed all in black, including a polo shirt, slacks and a casual jacket, as well as tinted glasses. The 82-year-old actor wore a broad smile as he watched his favorite team.
