Jack Fincham missed 'This Morning' after getting 'over-excited' at 'Celebs Go Dating' party

Jack Fincham has admitted that he skipped an appearance on This Morning because he got too “over-excited” at a party the night before.

The reality TV star was supposed to be on the sofa alongside Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on Thursday, along with his Celebs Go Dating co-star Lauren Goodger.

However, the pair had been celebrating the end of production on the dating programme at a big bash at a cocktail bar in London the night before – and it apparently took its toll.

Neither Fincham or Goodger turned up for This Morning, leaving a baffled Langsford to ask on TV: “If you're watching guys, where are you? What are you doing?"

Love Island star Fincham has now issued a grovelling apology, saying he wants to make it up to everyone involved.

'I wanted to apologise to everyone @thismorning & the viewers for my no show yesterday,” he tweeted.

“I won’t make excuses.

“I got over excited at the late night filming of the CGD wrap party and obviously regret that now.”

“So sorry once again & I hope I get the chance to make it up to everyone,” he added.

Fincham and Goodger were expected to promote Celebs Go Dating's latest series on the talk show,

The pair are among the celebrities hoping that matchmaker Paul Carrick Brunson and life coach Anna Williamson will help them to find love.

Fincham already found romance on TV when he and Dani Dyer fell for each other on Love Island, but that relationship hit the rocks earlier this year.

Goodger was with fellow The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright for several years but they called time on their romance in 2011.
