As the eight-day-long Hanukkah celebration kicks off, Ivanka Trump is marking the occasion with a special family photo. The first daughter shared a photo of her daughter, 8-year-old Arabella, and 6-year-old son Joseph with a candle, with Vice President Mike Pence standing behind them. Her younger son, 3-year-old Theodore, was not pictured.

"Happy Hanukkah! May your holiday season be filled with joy, love and light. Chag Chanukah Sameach!" Trump captioned her Instagram post.

The president's daughter converted to Judaism ahead of her 2009 wedding to Jared Kushner. Trump has said in the past that her family observes the religion and celebrates the Sabbath each week.

"We’re pretty observant, more than some, less than others. I just feel like it’s such an intimate thing for us," Trump said to Vogue in 2015. "It’s been such a great life decision for me. I am very modern, but I’m also a very traditional person, and I think that’s an interesting juxtaposition in how I was raised as well. I really find that with Judaism, it creates an amazing blueprint for family connectivity."

Meanwhile, celebrities like Andy Cohen and Paul McCartney also posted Hanukkah messages.
