I fully admit that I’m no chef. I’m also cheap, and that’s why I’d only buy an Instant Pot on sale. If you are also no Gordon Ramsey and a super cheap chef, let this Instant Pot sale at Macy’s save your next meal.

Thanks to this Instant Pot, you won’t have to spend a ton of time or effort on easy dinners, or make your house any hotter than it is with an oven. As part of the Macy’s Black Friday in July sale, the Instant Pot on reduced to $69.99, which is 44 percent off. The sale is only going on until July 14, but there’s still time to snag one up to see what all the Instant Pot hype is all about.

The Instant Pot in question is the Duo Nova Black Stainless Steel 6-Qt. 7-in-1 One-Touch Multi-Cooker, which was created especially for Macy’s. The popular cookware appliance pressure cooks, sautés, steams, slow cooks and warms. It can handle meats, eggs, rice, soup, yogurt and more — plus, it’s dishwasher-safe.

As the latest Instant Pot to hit the market, it already has over 120 reviews on the Macy’s site. The new easy-seal lid allows for flavors, nutrients and aromas to be sealed inside. Plus, even if you wanted to burn your food, there are about 10 or more built-in safety features, including overheat protection and a safety lock, to ensure safe use.

One shopper said the device had a simple setup, adding it’s great for gifts.

The reviewer writes, “Easy to use, you’ll find yourself making healthy, delicious meals much more often. A lot of ‘set-it-and-forget-it’ recipes that cook while you’re doing other things. Just got one for my 80-year-old mother who has everything.”

Another customer wrote about how they recognized that the Instant Pot may look daunting for some. They insist, however, that it only takes a once over the manual to be an Instant Pot pro.

“One of those products where you just have to read the manual or you’ll be confused every time you try to use it,” the reviewer writes. “Once I read the manual, I felt fine. We’ve used it for pasta bakes, potatoes, roasts, chili and to make a queso dip. Everything tasted great.”

Ultimately, this a great deal if you’re keeping summer dinners short, simple and sweet. Even if you are a terrible cook.
