Indiana football under the lights. Kickoff times announced for six 2022 games.

IU announced kickoff times Thursday for half of its 2022 football games, starting with an 8 p.m. kickoff in the season opener at home against Illinois on Sept. 2. That game will be televised on FS1.

The Hoosiers will host Idaho on Sept. 10 at 8 p.m. and Western Kentucky at Sept. 17 at noon at Memorial Stadium. Both of those games will be televised on the Big Ten Network.

Three other kickoff times were set with a television network still to be determined. The Hoosiers will play at Nebraska on Oct. 1 at 7 or 7:30 p.m., then host Michigan at noon on Oct. 8 in IU's Homecoming game. On Oct. 22, the Hoosiers will play at Rutgers at noon. Most other kickoff times will be announced during the season.

Sept. 2: Illinois at Indiana, 8 p.m., FS1

Sept. 10: Idaho at Indiana, 8 p.m., BTN

Sept. 17: Western Kentucky at Indiana, Noon, BTN

Oct. 1: Indiana at Nebraska, 7 p.m. or 7:30 p.m., Network TBD

Oct. 8: Michigan at Indiana (Homecoming), Noon, Network TBD

Oct. 22: Indiana at Rutgers, Noon, Network TBD
