'Impeach Trump' banner hangs at Nationals Park during World Series Game 5

President Donald Trump’s trip to the World Series wasn’t met with the same enthusiasm as one of his political rallies. Quite the opposite, actually.

When he was shown on the video board in the fourth inning and introduced over the stadium speakers, Trump was booed by fans at World Series Game 5 between the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros. Not long after that, fans chanted “Lock him up!”

The political jabs took a backseat to baseball for the next few innings but came back in the seventh inning when fans hung an “Impeach Trump” banner in right field. It was quickly confiscated by stadium security but was up long enough for plenty of pictures to be captured.

TV viewers might have also seen a “Veterans for Impeachment” sign behind home plate.

It’s not the first time this has happened. An “Impeach Trump” banner was also hung at Nationals Park on opening day 2017, not long after Trump took office.
