This footage, filmed by Chantelle Wallace, shows branches scattered along a street in the Austin neighborhood of Northwest Hills.
The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for the area on Wednesday, with likely power outages and tree damage due to increasing ice.
According to Austin Energy, as of Wednesday night, over 150,000 of their customers were left without power due to the winter storm.
