Icad: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

NASHUA, N.H. (AP) _ Icad inc. (ICAD) on Wednesday reported a loss of $1.6 million in its fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Nashua, New Hampshire-based company said it had a loss of 7 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and severance costs, came to 6 cents per share.

The imaging and early cancer detection company posted revenue of $10.5 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $17.6 million, or 80 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $29.7 million.

Icad shares have risen 37% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $18.06, a rise of 52% in the last 12 months.
