Husband's attempt to 'groom' dog results in awful haircut: 'If I don't laugh, I will cry'

A woman is still reeling from the awful haircut her husband gave their dog Riggins.

TikToker Amanda Robinson enlisted her husband when Riggins, an Australian shepherd and poodle mix, needed some grooming. Riggins has full brown and white fur that’s also pretty curly. But when Robinson’s husband was done with the canine, he looked completely different. In fact, she was so stunned that she said, “If I don’t laugh, I will cry.”

“POV: You leave your husband in charge of grooming the dog,” Robinson wrote in the caption.

Her husband shaved so much of the dog’s hair that it resembled a greyhound — except for his head. Riggins was bestowed with a long, shaggy mullet that ran from the top of his skull down past the back of his neck. Robinson compared to look to character Billy Hargrove’s extremely ’80s haircut from Netflix’s Stranger Things.

I hate to say it… but it’s growing on me,” Robinson admitted.

The hilarious video racked up 11.7 million views and 2.5 million likes on TikTok.

“I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so loud in my life,” someone wrote.

“More dogs should have mullets. I support this movement,” another said.

“The first mullet that actually looks good,” a person joked.
