Hurricane Ian: Now that the storm has left Northeast Florida, here's what's reopening soon

As Hurricane Ian passed Northeast Florida, a few stores, restaurants and retailers never closed. Those that did are now assessing when to re-open. The Times-Union is tracking them here. If you have an opening to report, email bcravey@jacksonville.com.

Stores

  • Harveys Supermarket and Winn-Dixie locations in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties that closed for Ian will begin to reopen at 9 a.m. Friday. Previously closed stores in Putnam County will reopen at 11 a.m.

  • Most Publix stores in Northeast Florida will reopen at 7 a.m. Friday, weather permitting. Some stores have modified hours. For updates on specific stores, go to the Publix website.

  • Orange Park Mall is open Friday. Some retailers and restaurants may have adjusted hours, so please contact them directly before visiting.

  • IKEA Jacksonville reopens at noon Saturday.

  • The Avenues mall reopens at 11 a.m. Friday.

  • St. Johns Town Center reopens at 10 a.m. Friday.

  • All but two Jacksonville-area Goodwill of North Florida retail stores reopened Friday. The exceptions are the St. Augustine and Southside locations.

Restaurants

  • Town Hall Jax re-opens Friday for Happy Hour and dinner service starting at 4:30 p.m.

  • Canopy Road Cafe's two Jacksonville locations reopen Friday.

  • Orange Blossom's restaurants in Jacksonville and Keystone Heights reopen Friday.

  • Chop It Charlie’s will reopen at noon Saturday in the Northern Tool parking lot

  • Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille in St. Augustine to reopen Saturday

  • Wicked Barley Brewing Company in Jacksonville reopens at 11 a.m. Saturday.

  • Chop It Charlie’s will reopen at noon Saturday in the Northern Tool parking lot.Sammy Cakes will reopen at noon Saturday.

  • Dine Happy inside Native Sun Jax Beach reopens for breakfast and lunch on Friday.

  • The Happy Grilled Cheese in Mandarin reopens Friday.

  • Singleton Seafood Shack is to reopen Friday.

  • The Bearded Pig BBQ reopens at 1 p.m. Friday.

  • 4 Trees Smokehouse in Middleburg reopens at 11 a.m. Friday.

  • Good Dough reopens at 9 a.m. Friday. Customers should use the back entrance.

  • Kusina Good Eats reopens at 9 a.m. Friday.

  • Some Starbucks reopen at 10 a.m. Friday.

  • Metro Diner's Jacksonville locations reopened Friday.

  • Prati Italia Jax reopens Friday for Happy Hour and dinner service starting at 4:30 p.m.

  • Jumpin' Jax House of Food reopens Friday.

  • Some Chick-fil-A restaurants will reopen at 11 a.m. Friday.

  • Friends Diner reopens Friday.

  • All Jacksonville area Pollo Tropical restaurant locations have reopened, with a limited menu.

  • Sweet Pete's has reopened.

Schools

Entertainment/events

  • Adventure Landing Jacksonville Beach is open Friday.

  • MOCA Jacksonville will reopen Sunday.

  • The Jacksonville and Orange Park locations of bestbet will reopen at 4 p.m. Friday, followed by St. Augustine site at noon Saturday.

  • The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens will reopen at 9 a.m. Saturday.

  • Jacksonville beaches have reopened; the Jacksonville Beach Pier reopens at 7 a.m. Saturday.

  • The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens reopens at 2 p.m. Sunday.

  • St. Johns County libraries will reopen at 10 a.m. Saturday.

  • Clay County libraries will resume regular hours Saturday.

Health/medical

  • Baptist Health will resume normal visitation and surgeries, procedures and diagnostic testing Friday. Outpatient imaging will resume Saturday.

  • All UF Health outpatient practices in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia will reopen tomorrow, with the exception of UF Health Gastroenterology-Southside.

  • Mayo Clinic Jacksonville will resume regular operations Saturday.

Other openings

  • Jacksonville International Airport reopens Friday: the TSA security checkpoint opens at 7 a.m. Some airlines will be operating on reduced schedules, so check flight status before heading to the terminal. Also, airport food service will be limited.

  • The Jewish Community Alliance is open Friday, although its Michele Block Gan Yeladim Preschool & Kindergarten will remain closed.

  • VyStar Credit Union's Springfield and Downtown Jacksonville branches are open at noon Friday. The following branches are open for drive-thru service only from noon to 6 p.m. Friday: 103rd Street, Branan Field, Chaffee Pointe, Eagle Harbor, Green Cove Springs, Middleburg, Normandy, Oakleaf, Orange Park, Palatka, Callahan, Northside, Oceanway, Riverside, Roosevelt, San Marco, Yulee, Arlington, Baymeadows, Beach and 295 E., Kernan, Regency Commons, Southside, Macclenny, Bartram Park, County Road 210, Julington Creek, Mandarin, Murabella, Nocatee, St. Augustine/ Florida 312 and St. Augustine North.

  • Bailey’s Health and Fitness plans to reopen most locations Friday, pending safety checks. The Northside and St. Augustine locations will remain closed.

  • Naval Air Station Jacksonville's hospital, branch health clinic and child development center will resume normal hours Saturday.

  • The U.S. Postal Service Florida resumed delivery and retail operations in much of Northern Florida. Friday.

  • Some Gate stores reopen Friday.

  • The Bridge of Lions in St. Augustine has reopened.
