Holliston woman killed on I-495 in Bellingham

BELLINGHAM ― A Holliston woman died Thursday after a rollover crash on Interstate 495 south, authorities said.

The Massachusetts State Police have identified the woman as Jane Middleton, 53.

Middleton was driving on I-495 southbound when, about 6 p.m., for an undetermined reason, drove her Chevy Silverado pickup truck off the road, rolled onto its side and in to the woods. The crash happened in Bellingham about 1 mile from Exit 46, officials said.

The state police, as well as the Bellingham Fire Department, responded to the crash and immediately provided medical aid to the woman, but she was declared dead at the scene, authorities said.

The crash remains under investigation by the state police's collision analysis unit and crime scene services, as well as the state Medical Examiner's office.
