The holiday season is officially here and after a year of cancellations, there is no shortage of events across the River Valley.

Here is a list of some holiday events you might want to check out:

Skating in a Winter Wonderland: Through Jan. 2 on the lawn at the Riverfront Pavilion.

Creekmore Holiday Express: 5:30-8:30 p.m. through Dec. 18 at Creekmore Park in Fort Smith.

Mistletoe Mania: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 18 at Van Buren Senior Center, 18 Lafayette St., Van Buren.

Joyful Artisan Market: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 18 at The Gallery, 914 Garrison, Ave., Fort Smith; visit thegalleryongarrison.com for tickets.

Spiro Christmas Parade: 5 p.m. Dec. 18 on South Main Street in Spiro.
