Holiday cheer & Santa arrive in Hendersonville during tree lighting

Hundreds braved the chilly weather Friday night in Hendersonville to see Santa Claus bring the holidays to Main Street during the annual Christmas tree lighting outside the Historic Courthouse.

Children danced to live music from Lewendahl, who led the crowd in singing "Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town" as the jolly elf made his entrance. Santa and Mrs. Claus spent time with children eager to get a hug and photo.
