Hocus Pocus 2 Release Date Announced for September

Get ready for more double, double, toil and trouble, because Hocus Pocus 2 is coming soon.
It may be spring, but we're getting excited for spooky season thanks to the news that the Sanderson sisters will be returning to the screen on September 30th. The sequel to the beloved family favorite that we have all been wishing into reality will begin streaming on Disney+ just a month ahead of Halloween.
Yahoo! Entertainment reports that Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy will be reprising their witchy roles to yet again put a spell on us. The film reportedly picks up in present-day Salem and follows three teenagers who accidentally bring three kindly old spinster ladies back to life. Of course, those little old women are actually the Sanderson Sisters, and they are ready for more than a little trick or treating. Once the kids realize their grave mistake, they have no choice but to work together to stop the witches from causing too much damage (or eating too many children, naturally).
Now that the film's official release date has been confirmed, we're just waiting for Disney to give us a sneak peek at Hocus Pocus 2 with a trailer. Then it will definitely be time
to go amok, amok, amok! With all these spooky things to look forward to, is it too soon to hang a Halloween wreath on the door?
We think not. We've been waiting for so long for the Sanderson Sisters to return that we think it's okay to start celebrating now!
