Hilary Duff defends confronting photographer: 'This wasn't cool'

When it comes to protecting her family, Hilary Duff is not to be messed with. That’s the message the Younger star sent during Friday’s episode of the Talk, when asked about a recent incident between her and a photographer that had people buzzing. Duff posted a video on her Instagram, of a confrontation she had with a stranger who was taking photos of her son and his soccer team during a match. The actress asked the man to stop taking photos of her son and his teammates, but he told her, “I’m not here to scare you or anything like that. Your paranoia is unwarranted.” “Then I will just post this to my 15 million followers on Instagram and let people know how creepy it is that this is what you’re choosing to do on your Saturday morning,” Duff told him in the video. She defended her actions during her appearance on the Talk, telling the panelists, “This guy was standing closer to the kids than the coaches on the frontline, closer than any of the parents were sitting.” Duff added, “This wasn’t cool with me and that’s my opinion, that it’s wrong, and whatever universe I’m in I’m going to protect my kids.”
