Is it just us, or does it seem like Easter snuck up on us this year? Ready or not, Easter is here, and if you haven't started planning your Easter menu, the time is now! If the thought of cooking and cleaning and grocery shopping stresses you out, load up the family and head to one of the restaurants open on Easter near you. Save your energy for Easter egg hunts, Instagram-worthy photo ops, and lots of time spent on family traditions. Plus, you won't have to fight all of the last-minute crowds at the grocery stores (unless, of course, you need to pick up some chocolate Easter bunnies).
Depending on where you live, local restaurants may be offering special menus on April 9. Call ahead to see if your favorite restaurant is offering an Easter dinner or brunch, or try one of these family-friendly nationwide standbys. These restaurants will do the work for you this year while you relax and enjoy the day.

Restaurants Open on Easter 2023
Applebee's
An Applebee's spokesperson confirmed that all restaurants will be open on April 9 with regular business hours. Locations are independently owned, so check with the Applebee's near you to confirm hours. Order a meal to go, or dine in and enjoy one of their $6 drink specials, like the Tipsy Shark or Strawberry Daq-a-Rita.
Bahama Breeze
Treat the family to a Caribbean-style carryout feast that includes an entrée (seafood paella, grilled chicken with cilantro crema, jerk chicken pasta, or baby back ribs), salad, side, and bread (serves up to 4). Top it all off with a whole Key lime pie.
Benihana
All locations are open for Easter Sunday this year. Make a reservation to dine in, or pick up a family-style meal or sushi rolls to go.
Bonefish Grill
The seafood restaurant is open on Easter. Make reservations ahead of time, or place an order for carryout online. Their special Mahi and Shrimp Family Bundle serves up to five people and includes salad, sauce, sides, fresh bread, and freshly-baked cookies.
Bonanza Steakhouse
If you're looking to feed a crowd, it's hard to beat the appeal of a buffet! You can count on there being something for everyone. Bonanza locations offer a special Easter buffet filled with traditional main dishes, sides, and desserts.
Bob Evans
All locations are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Dine in, or pick up an Easter celebration platter to go. The Hot Easter Celebration Family Meal serves up to six and includes turkey, hickory-smoked ham, bread and celery dressing, cranberry relish, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, corn, and dinner rolls. Round out the meal with a triple berry, Reese’s peanut butter, or double-crust apple pie.
Boston Market
Boston Market's signature chicken is always available for take-out, curbside pick-up, or delivery. They're also offering catered pre-cooked holiday meals, entrées, or desserts. Check out their website for all the details!
The Capital Grille
Gather the family for a special brunch on Sunday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Offerings include lobster frittata, dry-aged NY strip and eggs, center-cut filet mignon with white Cheddar hash browns, and blueberry bread. Or try out the new smoked salmon and caviar. Top off the meal with Champagne or a mimosa.
Carrabba's Italian Grill
All locations will be open for dine-in, carryout, and delivery. Their spring dinner specials include Tuscan-grilled lamb T-bones, linguine primavera, and olive oil cake.
Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen
Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen locations will be open for dine-in and carryout service. Pick up a family bundle with an entrée (chicken tenders, grilled salmon, or a combination of the two), two family-sized sides, and honey butter croissants.
Cheesecake Factory
All Cheesecake Factory locations will be open for Sunday Brunch and dinner. Check the website to order or make a reservation.
Chili’s
Chili's locations will be open on the holiday so you can enjoy all of your favorite dishes, plus the margarita of the month.
Chuck E. Cheese
Kids climbing the walls on Easter? Pack them up and head to Chuck E. Cheese. Locations are open regular business hours on Easter.
Cracker Barrel
Cracker Barrel is open for dine-in and carryout with several options on Easter. Plan ahead and order a Heat n' Serve Easter Ham Feast for 8-10, a smaller Easter Ham Family dinner that serves 4-6, or a Heat n' Serve Prime Rib Family Dinner. For something different, try the Meatloaf n’ Chicken Tenders Family Meal Basket with meatloaf and fried or grilled chicken tenders plus two sides, biscuits, and dipping sauces. The restaurant also offers catering options for bigger groups.
Denny's
All Denny's locations will be open on Easter this year with their traditional breakfasts and diner meals like burgers, chicken fried steak, and chicken tenders.
Domino's Pizza
Who needs a traditional Easter feast? Keep things easy and delicious by ordering pizza on Easter. Locations are open regular hours on the holiday.
Eddie V's Prime Seafood
The three-course prix-fixe brunch menu is a decadent way to start your Easter. Start with a house-baked cinnamon roll and then choose from main courses such as butter-poached Maine lobster quiche Florentine or the 8-ounce pan-seared steak and eggs with potatoes Au Gratin and red-eye gravy.
Famous Daves
Tired of a typical ham dinner? How about barbecue instead? Famous Daves has a ton of tasty items to choose from. Dine in, or pick up one of their Famous Feasts to feed four to six.
Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar
Make reservations for a special meal at Fleming's. Their 3-course menu features a hand-cut filet mignon with a choice of crab-stuffed shrimp or lobster tail scampi.
Fogo de Chão
The Brazilian steakhouse will celebrate the holiday with a special brunch menu followed by dinner service. If you'd rather dine at home, pick up a ready-to-eat package that includes two fire-roasted meats, sides, salads, bread, and cocoa fudge brownies (serves 6).
IHOP
Most locations will be open and operating under regular hours on Easter, but you should call your local restaurant to confirm before you head out. All locations are offering their National Pancake Day offer for the whole month of April.
Kona Grill
Head to Kona Grill for a special Easter Honey Ham Brunch, or pick up an Easter Ham Dinner for two (with honey-glazed ham, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and carrot cake) to enjoy at home.
LongHorn Steakhouse
This Easter, skip the ham and take the family out for a delicious feast at LongHorn Steakhouse. The restaurant will be open for curbside, delivery, and dine-in.
Maggiano’s Little Italy

Rejoice, burger lovers! Most McDonald's restaurants are open on Easter. Note that most of these establishments are independently owned, though, meaning their hours of operation can vary from store to store.
O'Charleys
If you want to dine in, join the waitlist online. Or order a "build-your-own" Easter feast (serves 6). Choose an appetizer (spinach & artichoke dip, loaded potato skins, spicy jack cheese wedges), a main dish (chicken alfredo, chicken tenders, honey-drizzled chicken, grilled chicken breasts), crowd-pleasing sides, and tea or lemonade. Add on a whole caramel pie or cheesecake for an additional charge.
Olive Garden
Skip the ham this year and pick up a family-style meal to go. The Family Pans offer a choice of their classic entrées like lasagna, chicken parmesan, shrimp Alfredo, and more.
Outback Steakhouse
All locations will be open this year. Call ahead for curbside takeaway options. Start with the Bloomin' Onion (obviously) and then try the new Aussie Chook Ribs, Crab-Topped Barramundi, or Steak & Tail. And don't forget the Tim Tam cake for dessert.
P.F. Chang's
Every location will be open on Easter Sunday. Go ahead and make a reservation now, or pick up a meal to take home.
Ponderosa Steakhouse
Ponderosa locations are open for a special Easter buffet. Selections may vary, but you'll find traditional favorites like turkey, ham, meatloaf, fried and baked chicken, jumbo shrimp, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, buttered corn, country style green beans, dinner rolls and garden salad. And of course there will be plenty of classic dessert options too!
Red Lobster

Romano's Macaroni Grill

All locations are open. Dine in from 10-2 for brunch or all day for dinner. Or choose the Green Box to go with ham, salmon, or beef tenderloin with a salad, two sides, and

Sonic Drive-In
Because the majority of the drive-ins are locally owned, holiday hours vary. However, some locations will be open for takeout on Easter. Make sure to check your local Sonic's hours.

Yes, you can satisfy your caffeine craving come Easter Sunday. Starbucks' Easter hours do vary by location, so call ahead to check on the options at your local Starbucks.
STK Steakhouse
The steakhouse has both dine-in and carryout options for Easter. Place a to-go order online for honey-citrus glazed ham with green beans, Brussels sprouts coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and Rocky Road chocolate fudge brownie.
