Here's How Much the Houses on Netflix's "Bling Empire" Are Worth

From House Beautiful

Netflix’s newest binge-worthy series, Bling Empire, takes us inside the ultra-glamorous world of an incredibly wealthy Asian and Asian American friend group in Los Angeles whose lavish lifestyles are...enviable, to say the least. The only thing we covet more than all the designer clothes, diamond jewelry, flashy cars, and private planes are their incredible houses. From the oceanside bluffs of Malibu to the tree-lined flats of the Miracle Mile, we take a look at some of our favorite cast member’s homes and reveal just how much it costs for a piece of real estate in this reality empire.

Christine Chiu and her family temporarily settled into this 5,500-square-foot house, hidden away in idyllic upper Bel Air, before filming began, while their actual home was under construction. Located on a cul-de-sac, the sleek 6-bedroom, 7-bathroom abode is set on over an acre of land and has a completely gated driveway that offered the Chius total privacy. Described as a “Zen-like retreat,” the modern residence, built in 2011, last sold for just over $5 million.

Set atop a knoll overlooking Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills, Anna Shay’s sprawling 1926 Spanish Revival mansion is nearly 9,000-square-feet of history. Once owned by Italian mobster Tony Milano, the home comes complete with original details like mosaic tilework, wrought iron railings, period fixtures, hand-stenciled ceilings, and several fountains.

Shay bought the 1.4-acre estate in 2011 for $9.35 million, and now has it listed for a cool $16 million. The massive house has 5-bedrooms, 4.5-bathrooms, a grand entry off the porte-cochère with a dramatic staircase and enormous living room that opens to a rear courtyard, as well as a 4-car garage and motor court. (Oh, and it's rumored to be haunted!)

What’s most impressive about Kane Lim’s West Hollywood apartment is the expansive wall of designer shoes in his living room—where nearly all of his in-home scenes take place. Lim’s shoe fetish is certainly admirable, and his collection of Christian Louboutin kicks is worth a reported $365,000. While the real estate heir dabbles in the market, his own home is modest in comparison to others featured on the show—although it could rival any exclusive Beverly Hills boutique.

The views from the Malibu home belonging to Kim Lee’s parents, Kimmy and Dan Segal, are just as incredible in person as they are on camera. Located on the Pacific Coast Highway, the 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom, 3,085-square-foot Mediterranean-style villa was built in 1929 on over an acre of property. Worth an estimated $4.2 million, the bluff estate—situated in one of the most gorgeous spots in California—has incredible sunrise to sunset whitewater ocean views and is a short 5-minute walk to the beach. A close relationship with her parents means the DJ and model spends quite a bit of time poolside at the Instagram-worthy oasis.

Hairstylist and musician Guy Tang’s sizable 5,098-square-foot home includes a 1,706-square-foot rooftop deck with unobstructed 360-degree views of Los Angeles. Built in 2017—and purchased for $4.1 million—the 5-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom smart home includes a large open floor plan, floor-to-ceiling windows, a chef’s kitchen, a distinctive floating staircase, and a pool that actually wraps around the home. Either of the home’s primary bathrooms would be ideal for shooting hairstyling tutorials for his “hair besties” on YouTube.
