From The Pioneer Woman

Ree Drummond’s accessories are always gorgeous, but there’s one special piece of jewelry that stands out from the rest.

Fans of The Pioneer Woman know that Ree’s silver bangle is almost as famous as her floral blouses (Psst: her new clothing line is coming soon!). Now we finally know the meaning behind it.

During her virtual Frontier Follies book tour, Ree did a fun Q&A with her younger daughter, Paige. The pair talked about all kinds of things, like their family, her upcoming projects, if Ree has any tattoos (😂), and the sweet story behind the bracelet she always wears. Here's what she had to say.

“I never take this off, and it’s a bangle that says, ‘Lord make me an instrument of thy peace.’ It’s the first line of the Prayer of St. Frances,” she explains. “I’ve worn it for probably 10 to 12 years, but it always reminds me that making peace is never a bad idea. So no matter what’s going on, if I get little glimpses of it throughout the day, it’s a good reminder.”

Well, “Unless I’m hormonal.” 😂😂😂

Unfortunately, Ree’s exact bracelet is discontinued. But a few years back, she shared a link to a similar one from James Avery, and the sterling silver piece is engraved with another beautiful verse. It reads, “I can do all things in Him who strengthens me.”

If the Prayer of St. Francis is particularly meaningful for you, though, there are some lookalike options out there. They’re sure to brighten your day anytime you need a little pick-me-up.
