Heart of Ohio Quilters Guild hosting quilt show Oct. 1

The Heart of Ohio Quilters Guild presents "Roundabout" Quilt Show on Oct. 1 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. While traditionally held at the Bryn Du Mansion, this year the event will be held at the First United Methodist Church, located at 88 N. 5th St. in Newark. It is suggested that those attending make a $5 donation.

Enjoy a beautiful display of 100 crafted quilts, which will be displayed over church pews and hanging from balconies.

The event will also feature vendors, silent auction, door prizes and a boutique.

Because of ongoing construction in downtown Newark, attendees are encouraged to use Granville Street. A detour through a parking lot at the corner of Granville and 5th Streets will be available.
