Of his passing, the family shared: “We will forever be saddened that his life was cut short by this devastating disease. He achieved a lot in his 24 years, but we will never get the chance to see how much more Harry could have done.”

“Harry was not just our son,” the statement continued. “He was also a wonderful brother, loving grandson, favorite uncle and a caring friend. He was a creative, loving and powerful soul that brought light into so many people’s hearts. He was truly a beautiful person inside and out.”

Before his death, Harry was not only a socialite, but a fashion scene tastemaker who set to remove gender stereotypes in the beauty industry. In 2015, Harry and his brother Peter Brant Jr. founded a unisex makeup line with MAC that launched in 2015 and 2016. In promotion of the product line, Harry explained in an interview with W Magazine: “The gender lines are starting to blur again, which is really, really great. People are starting to be more celebrated for their creativity… So, I think people can definitely express themselves in a great through makeup, because it is all about fantasy and turning yourself into someone you might not necessarily be on an everyday basis.”

The late star also modeled for Balmain and posed for Italian Vogue. Additionally, he served as a columnist for Interview magazine, which his father owns, The Times reported.
