Harrison Ford needs to hang up that famous whip for a bit.

The 78-year-old actor injured his shoulder while rehearsing for a fight scene on the set of the fifth "Indiana Jones" movie, USA TODAY confirmed Wednesday, first reported by Deadline. Ford will take a break while director James Mangold will keep working around his absence.

“Production will continue while the appropriate course of treatment is evaluated, and the filming schedule will be reconfigured as needed in the coming weeks,” a statement from Disney said.

The latest Indy adventure starring Ford as the globetrotting archaeologist started filming two weeks ago in the U.K. with a cast including Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook and Toby Jones. The movie is currently scheduled to release in theaters July 29, 2022, but has been delayed several times, most recently due to COVID-19.

Ford also was injured on the British set of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" seven years ago. On the second day of filming, a mishap involving a hydraulic door broke his left leg and injured his ankle. Nine months later, Ford crashed his vintage single-engine plane on a golf course soon after taking off from Santa Monica Municipal Airport. The injury tally for that accident was one dislocated right ankle, one shattered pelvis and one broken back.
