Hank and Groot: Rescue pets of the week

Hank is a 2-year-old neutered Yellow Lab mix who has never met a person he hasn’t liked – and that includes little people, he’s especially fond of the little ones! He’s met and interacted well with other dogs – he just wants to play! Hank is used to daily walks and would benefit from plenty of romp time. In his previous home, he lived mostly outdoors, so he would do best if he was set up on a consistent let-out schedule for success in housetraining.

Groot has been at Tri-County Humane Society for more than a month. This 2-year-old neutered mini panther has watched all the feline friends he arrived with get adopted in that time. He's feeling a little left out and sad!  Groot will need time to adjust to his new environment and plenty of TLC. He is a bashful boy;  appreciating a quiet approach with lots of cheek and chin scratches. Groot has lived with cats in the past, and he would likely benefit from an outgoing, confident resident cat to be his buddy. Groot qualifies for our Fabulous Five Dollar Feline promotion.
