The Biebers are doing just fine. On Friday, Hailey Bieber set the record straight once and for all regarding speculation that Justin "mistreats" her during a candid discussion on Demi Lovato's 4D with Demi Lovato podcast.

Referring to the rumor as one "big fat" lie, Hailey went on to explain, "There's so many narratives that float around about me, about him, about us together. There's one big fat narrative that goes around that's like, Justin is not nice to her and mistreats her and I'm just like, 'it's so far from the truth and it's the complete and utter opposite.'" She added, "I really am lucky to say I'm with someone who is extremely respectful to me and who makes me feel special every single day. So when I see the opposite of that, I'm just like, 'huh?' And everybody around who knows us personally would say the same thing."

The misconception about Justin not being nice to Hailey first began after a video of the signer seemingly yelling at her went viral back in July. In the clip, the couple can be seen walking through the Wynn hotel's lobby in Las Vegas following Bieber's surprise appearance with Diplo at the XS nightclub, and at one point, Justin appeared to be exchanging heated words with his wife.

However, according to several eyewitnesses, that just wasn't the case. "He was not yelling and we were there to witness what went down. He was all adrenaline," one fan tweeted, while Hailey herself came to her husband's defense on her Instagram Stories. "Reminiscing on how amazing last weekend was," she wrote alongside a photo of the pair kissing. "Had the best time surrounded by so much love. Any other narrative floating around is beyond false. Don't feed into the negative bulls--t peeps."

Elsewhere during her chat with Lovato, Bieber admitted to having "low days" when the negativity feels overwhelming, but often Justin is there to shift her perspective. "I have my low days where I'm like, 'This is too much and all the things people are saying, I can't take it today.' Again, he'll come in and be like, 'Well, the truth is that you're good, you're secure and you're loved and all of your friends love you and your family loves you and I love you.'"

This week, Justin and Hailey celebrated their third wedding anniversary with date night at the Met Gala — their first time attending the event together as a couple. Though, it wasn't without its drama.
