DALLAS (AP) _ A.H. Belo Corp. (AHC) on Monday reported a loss of $1.7 million in its fourth quarter.

The Dallas-based company said it had a loss of 8 cents per share.

The newspaper publisher posted revenue of $40.8 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $6.9 million, or 32 cents per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $154.3 million.

In the final minutes of trading on Monday, the company's shares hit $2.39. A year ago, they were trading at $2.30.
