Gwen Stefani Offsets Her Short Shorts With a Varsity Jacket, Fishnets & Latex Boots

Gwen Stefani styled her most beloved pair of shorts for fall this week as she took on the knockout round of “The Voice.”

Taking to Instagram to show off her on-set attire, the No Doubt star layered her go-to cutoff denim shorts under a mesh top and an embellished red varsity jacket; Stefani then kept her legs cozy in classic fishnet tights as well as black latex thigh-high boots.

Fishnet tights are a surefire way to add a bit of flair and edge to an ensemble; the legwear silhouette is a favorite of Stefani herself as well as Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga and Cardi B among other stars.

Earlier in the month as the show continued filming, the series judge posed alongside her fellow co-star and new fiancé Blake Shelton as they prepared for the Battles round. For the episode, Stefani opted for a glittering fringed Zuhair Murad top tucked into embellished denim cutoffs also accented by embellishments.

As for legwear, the “Hollaback Girl” singer kept with her typical style in fishnet tights tucked into blue suede thigh-high boots.

As for Gwen Stefani herself, the singer’s style can be described as punk rock-chic, always including a twist of glam. Whether she’s in Sophia Webster butterfly sandals or Crocs camouflage clogs, the “Sweet Escape” singer knows how to pull off an unexpected style. Her career has also extended into the television world with a role judging new musical talent on “The Voice” once more this season alongside Blake Shelton of course, as well as Kelly Clarkson and John Legend.
